Rodan Attachment Light

Today, Rodan top-piece lamp is a faithful reconstruction of the BAMAG U7 light from BRAUN. The original luminaire, the model for Rodan, was developed by Berlin Anhaltische Maschinenbau AG (BAMAG) in the late 1920s for gas lighting. The top-piece luminaire with the former model designation BAMAG U7 was one of the most modern luminaires of its time in functional and design terms and has become a classic in luminaire design over the years.

The luminaire is equipped with energy-efficient innovative LED technology. Depending on the requirements for light control, light output, and light color, a His.lux® LED module or a NewNight cone module can be installed. This luminaire projects golden yellow lighting that makes the surroundings appear alive and natural or a very bright safety lighting with convincing luminous intensity. Thanks to its rotationally symmetrical light distribution, the Rodan luminaire is ideal for illuminating squares, streets, residential areas, green spaces, and driveways.

The folding lamp cover is made of weather-resistant natural aluminum. All hinges and locking parts are made of stainless steel or galvanized sheet steel. Other luminaire components are made of galvanized or hot-dip galvanized steel. The closed glass bell is made of borosilicate glass.

Painting variants according to the RAL color table, DB color number, and FerroGrip special paintwork are available on request.
