Special programme “Schön + Gut”: We light up the city

Berlin is the world’s capital of gas lanterns. Around 20,ooo of them have to be inspected and maintained regularly, including model, surface-mounted, cylindrical and suspended lanterns. The BRAUN company is one of the few companies that undertakes this task.

The state broadcaster rbb was allowed to accompany BRAUN’s everyday work and take a closer look at the tasks and challenges. The special programme “Schön + Gut: Die Inspekteure” (Beautiful + Good: The Inspectors) not only provides an insight into the gas lantern landscape of Berlin and the surrounding area, but also highlights the passion and motivation of our employees.
