Initial situation:
Friedrichshafen Airport is one of the largest airports in Baden-Württemberg. All modern commercial aircraft such as the Airbus A319, A320, A321, and Boeing B737 take off and land here.
Customer request and order:
At the beginning of 2018, BRAUN received the order to convert the existing pole spotlights on the apron to LED technology.
The solution from BRAUN:
A large number of OptimaLine4 spotlights were used. All masts on the apron of the airport were converted in record time to the client’s utmost satisfaction.
Due to the innovative lighting technology from BRAUN and the high CO2 savings, at the beginning of 2019, the operating company of the airport received a certificate from the National Climate Protection Initiative for this project.
